Introduction

Turn It Up Dance Challenge, Inc. (“Turn It Up Dance,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Turn It Up Dance collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from visitors and users of our Sites, including WWW.TURNITUPDANCE.COM (the “Site”), and other online or offline services that link to or reference this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”).   • Non-personal details about your Site interactions, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), clickstream to, through and from our Site (including date and time), products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page or any phone number used to call our customer service number.

This includes information you provide when you create an account, register for an event, subscribe to our Services, perform any other direct interaction with our Site, or communicate with our personnel.

    Accessing And Correcting Your information.

    You can review, update, or change your personal information by accessing your account on the Site. You may also send us an email at info@turnitupdance.com to request access to, correct, export, erase, or otherwise inquire about any personal information processed by Turn It Up Dance in connection with the Services we provide. If you make a request to delete your personal information and if that information is necessary for the products or services that you have purchased, Turn it Up Dance will accommodate your request only to the extent the information is no longer necessary for any Services purchased. We may not accommodate a request to change or delete information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect, or if we are required to maintain the information for our legitimate business purposes, including legal or contractual record keeping requirements.

    Turn It Up Dance Events.

    When you attend a Turn It Up Dance Event or co-hosted event (“Event”), we may capture your image, voice, and likeness, including through the use of video or camaras when we film or photograph you in a public location at an Event. You should expect to be filmed or photographed by CCTV, or by cameras when you are in a public location at an Event, and hereby consent to same.

    We may use your personal information collected at an Event as follows:

    • To produce, exhibit, advertise or otherwise use your image, voice, or likeness in any and all media now or existing in future as part of Turn It Up Dance’s marketing activities, including social media posts and posts on our Site; 
    • In the case of images or footage captured on CCTV cameras, to ensure the safety of the venues hosting Events and of individuals attending Events. 
    • When you appear in a photograph or video footage, we may disclose that photograph or video containing your image, voice, and/or likeness with our third-party partners. These partners include our sponsors, licensees, advertisers, and/or broadcasters. Each of the third-party partners may use your personal information for their independent commercial purposes without reference to Turn It Up Dance. 

    Other third parties that are unconnected to Turn It Up Dance may be independently filming or photographing you when you attend an Event. Turn It Up Dance is not responsible for how those parties use your personal information and for what purposes.

As explained in the Privacy Policy above, we may collect personal information directly from you, from your device, or from third parties, and we may disclose information about you with third parties for business purposes.

    No sale of personal information. In the preceding twelve months, we have not sold any personal information of consumers, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. 

    Rights Relating to Your Personal Information You may have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act to request information about the collection of your personal information by us, or access to or deletion of your personal information. As required by law, we will require you to provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative of such person. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or the authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.
